Have a skincare product idea that deserves to be brought to life? At Custom House Cosmetics, we take your vision and transform it into a fully developed, beautifully branded product - formulated, designed, packaged and manufactured right here in Australia.
Stage 1: Initial Development
✔ Project Brief & Lab Formulation
We start with a detailed consultation to understand your brand, product goals, and ingredient preferences. You'll be guided by our in-house lab team of scientists and skincare experts, who will develop your initial formulation in our lab.
Once your samples are ready, we’ll ship them directly to you for testing and review.
✔ Formula Refinement
After reviewing your samples, you’re welcome to request revisions. We'll continue refining the formula until you’re 100% happy with your formulation.
✔ Packaging & Label Design
While formulation is underway, our creative team will work with you to design your bespoke and compliant label. We also assist with selecting bottles, caps, and other packaging components to suit your brand's aesthetic and identity.
Once everything is finalised and approved, you’ll receive a detailed production quote tailored to your volume needs.
Stage 1(B): Small Batch for Testing (Optional)
Want to test your formula before a full production run? We offer small batch manufacturing - just 10 units per product - ideal for soft launches, sampling, or marketing trials.
Stage 2: Production & Finalisation
✔ Procurement of Materials
Once you approve the final formulation and packaging, we’ll source all necessary materials for production.
✔ Final Label Approval
You’ll get one last chance to review your label design before printing begins.
✔ Batch Manufacturing
We manufacture your product to your chosen volume (minimum 250L-300L, depending on the product), while maintaining consistency and Australian-made quality at every step.
✔ Packaging & Fulfilment
Once complete, your order is packed and delivered - fully labelled, sealed, and ready to sell.
✔ Already Have Your Own Packaging?
If you already have your own packaging - we’re happy for you to either:
- Send us your packaging and we’ll fill them with your custom formula, apply labels (if needed), and return shelf-ready.
- Or receive your product formulation in bulk for you to fulfil yourself.
Whether you need a complete end-to-end solution or just the formulation, we’re flexible to fit your process.
* Lab work is billed at $300/hour, with 5–8 hours typically required for your first round of samples depending on how many products you require.
